Our lead climbing guided trip is for you if you already have a good amount of climbing experience. That means, you don’t need to be taught the basics of climbing, nor equipment usage.

It also means you can lead climb and set up the route while your climbing guide/instructor belays you.

If you can’t lead climb a minimum of 6a+ or 6b (french grade) or if you have never lead climbed 6a+/6b outdoor before, then it would be safer and more enjoyable for you to do the “Half Day Top Rope Guided Trip” (read more here).

Why?

Because if you’ve only lead climbed indoor, or can’t lead climb a minimum of 6a+/6b, then lead climbing the Koh Tao granite (which is really different) will very likely be outside your comfort zone. 

We want you to have fun and enjoy the process, and that means get the most climbing in that you can, not be overly struggling and hanging on the rope most of the time!

**Important – The prerequisite for having the most fun and getting the most value on this trip, is you must either:

1. Have completed our Beginner Top Rope Course or Intermediate Lead Course, or…
2. Can already climb at least 6a/6b.
